Masculine 40th birthday

Made this really simple 40th birthday card for a friend on the weekend. I always find it so hard to make male cards so I was really happy to find this idea. Unfortunately I don't know who to thank for this idea but I love it for men's cards. It's made using white card for base card, black card cut into two strips and printed stripe from DCWV stack. The '40' is painted chipboard numbers and the 'happy birthday' cirlce is from 'The Cutting Cafe' digi stamp.
Hope you like.

CD's Pond Pals

Another birthday card for August. This one I made for my sister-in-law Dulcie. She loves frogs so I always try to give a card with frogs on it. This image is stamped from 'Pond Pals' Clear Dollars Stamps and coloured with copics. Layered frog & balloons onto foam dots and used dimensional magic on them. Mounted on SU gable green scallop oval from Nestables. Then added to DCWV Sweet Stack pattern paper on base card of SU gable green. Added rubon greeting, ribbon and brads.
Hope you like.

Bronte's Birthday

I made this card for our goddaughter Bronte's 15th birthday. The image is from Penny Black. Coloured with copics and added dimensional magic to balloons & gifts and stickles to ribbon.
Mounted on SU elegant eggplant that I had put through the cuttlebug spotted folder and used Fiskars border punch. Patterned paper is from DCWV mat stack. Added rubon greeting, organza ribbon and flowers edged with stickles. Base card is SU orchid opulance.
Hope you like.

Penny Black Birthday

August/September are huge birthday months for me. This card was made for our niece Trish. We always send her a card with a cat on it so this time I have used the Penny Black image. Coloured image with copics and then added dimensional magic to lift the image. Hard to see in this picture. Cut the shape using Nestables. The base card is 'SU Summer Sun', the pattern paper is DCWV Pocket full of Posies stack mounted on black card. Used SU eyelet border punch, greeting from Deja Views rubons and ribbon, flowers & brad from my supplies. The corners are punched with SU ticket punch and rhinestones added from Kaszazz.
Hope you like.

Pretty Pixie

I made this card for our very special friend Kasey who has just turned 9. I used the Charmed Crafts digital images from the 'Pixie' range. I coloured the image using copics and added stickles to wings, flowers and dimensional magic to flowers. Mounted the image on SU 'pacific point' cut with nestabilities scallop circle. The pattern blue & pale blue is from my stash and punched with SU eyelet border. The base card is white then SU 'pacific point' cuttlebugged with 'spots' folder. Added ribbon, flowers and MM greeting to finish off.
Hope you like.

Quick Digi Cards

Made these two cards in very short amount of time. The images are from Charmed cards and craft digital stamps and are available in both coloured and uncoloured images. I chose the pre-coloured images for these cards due to time issues.
The first card is called 'chillin Mikey' using SU Real Red and Black card stock. DCWV mat stack for pattern paper, SU star punch and MM Birthday greeting. Image shape from nestables.
The second is called 'Girl about Town' using black card stock and sentiment is also from the same range. Pattern paper is from DCWV mat stack 'All Dressed Up' and flower with brad added to pretty it up.
As I mentioned, very easy cards.
Hope you like.

Cowgirl Mini Album

Hi all. Back creating again. Had a few busy weeks with work/home life. Just made this gorgeous little mini album for my niece who is horse mad. Snapped a few pictures of her and some friends after she had just come back from riding.
As soon as I saw this album in the scrapbook store I had to have it for these photos. I think it was a Bella album. Painted with Kaisercraft 'sea breeze' and covered with Creative Imaginations patterned paper. Added embellishments, bling, chipboard horseshoes/flowers/hearts and stickers from Sandylion. Put together with metal ring and added variety of ribbons to make it all a bit pretty.
Hope you like.

For the New Grandparents

I so love this image from Penny Black Stamps. He's just so cute. I made this card for some special friends Sonja & Col, who have just had their first grandchild.
The image is stamped onto cream cardstock & coloured with watercolour pencils. I've cut the oval shape & scallop oval from nestables and mounted onto cream cardstock which I have run through the cuttlebug with textile texture folder. The blue card is SU Brocade Blue. The brads are actually homemade as I didn't have any to match. I've punched these from hole punch and added SU crystal effects to give them the raised look. This idea came from my friend Sharon. The "Congratulations"is stamped in versafine vintage sepia and a touch of sponging arount the edges. The organza ribbon is from my stash.
Thanks for looking.

CCEE Technique Challenge Trifold

This is my entry for the CCEE challenge. Hopefully it makes it in time.Thank you to Sharon at www.cardsbyrequest.blogspot.com for the idea to make a baby card. I've needed to make a baby boy card for a few weeks now so this will be on its way to Melbourne tomorrow. This wasn't anywhere near as complicated as it looks. I've use SU Baja Breeze as the card base. I didn't have the right p/paper I needed, so I stamped white card with SU Bashful Blue hand and footprints from Kaisercraft and then run through the cuttlebug swiss dots. The other paper paper was from my supplies but I don't know the brand name. The spotted piece on the end is also cuttlebugged with Baby folder. Added blue ricrac, buttons,MM rubon and baby sticker. The image on the front is from Pink Cat Studio Sweet Pea Stamps. I've coloured image with copic markers and cut oval with CM oval cutters. The verse is Inky Antics stamped in SU Bashful Blue on white card.

Thanks for looking.

Used stickles on wings, stars & crown and added some pink diamonds to tips of crown. Mounted image onto SU So Saffron and then mounted onto SU pink pirouette cuttled bugged with the happy birthday folder. Added some bling, flowers and organzer ribbon to soften.

You & Me House Mouse

This is my very first online challenge card for CCEE Stampers. The challenge was to create a card with flowers. I've used House Mouse image 'Lavender Dreams'. Coloured image with copic markers & SU Markers. Added lavender flower soft on flowers and dimensional magic to mice to give it a 3D effect. Mounted image onto SU 'Lovely Lilac' and then onto SU designer paper 'Tea Party'. Used SU border punch and added ribbon edged organzer ribbon. Circle punched greeting after running through swiss dots cuttlebug and mounted onto Nestable scallop circle. Have mounted image and greeting onto foam dots. Hope you like.

Dad's birthday

This is my Dad's birthday card. The image is from Stampendous stamps 'South Downs Cows'. When I saw this stamp I just had to have it for my Dad. He's a retired dairy farmer who milked only friesian cows, so this was just perfect for him. I've coloured the image with water colour pencils and then mounted it on SU Gable Green & So Saffron. The printed paper is from SU Petals & Paisley designer series paper and I've run through the cuttlebug with 'Argyle' and mounted onto So Saffron & Black Bazzill. Added black brads & string. Added a Making Memories metal 'Happy Birthday' after this photo was taken. Was in a hurry to get to lunch with Dad.
Thanks for looking.

Just got back from the Scrapbook & Papercraft convention in Brisbane. This is myself with friends Sharon & Dawn at the ferriswheel at Southbank, which is across the road from the convention centre. Had a fabulous time, bought lots of new stamps, spent way too much but had lots of fun. Looking forward to creating with new purchases over the next few weeks.

Silver Wedding Anniversary

Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary to our very good friends, Linda & Bryan. This card is a case of someone very clever but I've been unable to find their details, so thank you whoever you are. The background is white cuttlebug swiss dots on bazzill grey card. Stamp 'Heart Art Studios' embossed in silver with front heart on foam dots to make it pop. Organza ribbon, silver brads, and congratulations sticker.

40th Birthday

This card was made using printed paper from the LaCreme DCWV stack. Its beautifully flocked and very rich looking. The idea came from Kathy @ www.inspiredtostamp.blogspot.com. The red scalloped circle is cuttlebug swiss dots with background black nestable labels 1. I've raised the 40 on foam dots which is a bit hard to see in photograph. Hope you like.
