New Puppy

My friend has just become a proud mum to a new fur baby. This image and pattern paper is from the DoCrafts free cd and printed onto SU white card stock. I've used the Friday Sketches #91 layout for this card. The main image shape is cut with Nestables Labels 1 and inked around edges. Have mounted onto Not Quite Navy SU card and then onto white.

Thanks for looking.

Green Golfer

I've used the Midnight Madness sketch #42 for this card. The image and pattern paper is from the Docrafts magazine free craft cd, that came with issue 19. I've printed these onto SU White cardstock. The green and rust cardstock is also from Stampin Up and I have used the Cuttlebug 'Argyle' and Swiss Dots folders to emboss. This card also qualifies for  The Pink Elephant challenge #56 this week, which was 'use the colour green'. I was hoping to also enter in the Cards for Men challenge but I just missed the cutoff.

Hope you like.

Celebrate

This lovely cow image is from Penny Black, stamped and embossed with black embossing powder and coloured with copics. Had a bit of trouble with the colouring as the black kept smudging.  The cardstock is from Stampin up and patter paper from Inque Boutique 'Cabana' mini paper stack. Added ribbon, brads and flowers. The 'celebrate' is stamped with my very handy EK Success multi stamp and cut to size.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope you've all been very spoilt today with chocolates and flowers.

I've created this card using the Cards for Men Challenge #3. It also fits the Cute Card Thursday  and the Simon Says Stamps challenge theme of 'Love" and the Charisma Cardz Challenge 'Male" . The image is a digi stamp from the George Rock'n'Roll collection from Charmed Cards and Crafts. It reminded of an early day 'Beatle' which is where the "Love me do" idea came from. I've coloured with copics and mounted onto foam dots. The background is made from black cardstock cut to resemble a vinyl record. The pattern papers are from SEI and the cardstock is SU Not Quite Navy and Really Rust. I've used Martha Stewart  heart border punch, Carl music punch and created the greeting on the computer. The greeting, hearts, and music notes have all had SU crystal effects added.

Today is also my DH birthday, so this cards is his valentine and birthday card.

Oh, I was also spoilt with a lovely bunch of roses.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

The base card is SU basic grey & black card. The pattern paper is from DCWV. Corner pieces were done with the cuttlebug and background embossed with diamond plate folder. Added brads and a stick-on greeting.

Make a Wish

My daughter's friend Storm is having a birthday party on Saturday, so how perfect is this image, as the cake has seven candles. The stamp is from Stampavie "Mouse Carrying Cake". I've coloured it with copics, mounted onto SU Rose Red scallop oval. The pattern paper & cardstock is from Stampin Up. The no. 7 is a chipboard number which has been embossed in pink and dazzling diamonds.I've used MS heart border punch which I purchased on the weekend at the papercraft fair in Brisbane. The 'make a wish' stamp is from EK Success and is punched out with SU label punch. Flowers and brads are from my stash and I've added stickles to them to give them some sparkle. Have also added stickles to the streamers and candles.
Thanks for looking.

Simon Says Challenge 'New Baby'

This baby girl card is for my boss and his wife who have just had their first baby. The image is a digi stamp from KLM Digi stamps coloured with copics. This is the first Easel card I've made and found it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I've cut out the image and mounted onto white SU card stock then onto bazzill pink scallop circle. The pattern paper is from MMBI Baby Girl stack. Have stitched around the outside of each section. Flowers, ribbon, lace, pearls and bootie's charm from my stash.

I've used the same pattern paper for inside the card. The verse is from the internet and printed from my computer.

This also fits the Simon Says Stamp Challenge for this week 'NEW BABY'.

Fox Birthday Wishes

Firstly, Happy Australia Day to all. Hope your enjoying your day off here in Australia.

Happy Birthday to my friend Deb S. I've made this card using a digital stamp from Sketching Stamper . Debbie's maiden name is Fox so she has a great love of anything relating to foxes. The image is coloured using copics and cut out with CM circle cutters, so I didn't cut off his ears. Mounted on scallop circle from Nestables. Printed paper is from SEI and coloured cardstock is from SU. I've stitched around outside as well as sewn the lace onto the paper. Used copper coloured brads and embossed greeting from MM with copper embossing powder to match both brads and flower. Also used McGill fern punch to add a couple of matching blue fern fronds.

Hope you like.

Christmas Card Crisis

This card was especially made for my friend Sharon (www.cardsbyrequest.blogspot.com). We are both so alike when it comes to getting cards made for an occasion. Always leaving it to the last minute when we know we're not going to have enough time to finish.

Our new puppy Buddy
