Too Cute Digi Stamp

My good friend Sharon ( of Cards by Request blog fame) celebrated her birthday this week

I wanted to make her a card with an image she wouldn't have seen before and was delighted when I found this fabulous digital image from Digi Doodle Shop.

I've coloured with Copics, Star Dust Stickles to flowers and SU Crystal Effects to shoes and ribbon on hat.

The pattern paper is from DCWV, added flowers, MS butterfly punch, SU border punch, bling and cuttlebug corner adornment. The "Happy Birthday' is a rub-on and the idea for "It's all about the accessories" came from another talented card maker named Sharon (must be something in the name).

Hope you're enjoying your weekend and thanks for looking.

Tilda Debutante Ball

Our goddaughter made her debut on Saturday night, so I made her this card to celebrate the occasion.
It was a very special and successful night for 16 very clever girls (and equally fabulous parents) who actually organized the whole event themselves, as there were no Debutante Balls planned for our area. The theme of the night was butterflies and pastels with a few of the girls opting to wear pastel coloured dresses in place of the more traditional white.

The card is made using pattern paper from Papermania & card stock from Stampin Up. Tilda is from the new fairytale collection - 'Maid Marrion Lady Tilda' - coloured with copics and lots of stickles. Added flowers, punched leaves, tulle, lace, charm, pearls, and punched butterfly.

I've entered this card in the Charisma Cardz Challenge #17 -   'Girly card with flowers'

Thanks for looking.

I've used the SU spiral punch, metal brads, stars coloured with SU More Mustard pens and punched from Tim Holtz grungeboard. Happy 50th Sharon

This card was made especially for my friend Sharon who is celebrating her 50th birthday.

The image is a RAK from Sharon (Cards by Request) and coloured with copics. The pattern paper is from Kaisercraft paper pad - 'Shaken Not Stirred Collection' mounted onto black and red SU cardstock. The number was cut from my friend's cricuit and has dimensional magic added to lift it. The image was cut out and mounted onto white cuttlebug swiss dots oval (I wiped a red stamp pad over the dots to colour them). Kaisercraft pearls, MM greeting and organzer ribbon added to finish.

Thanks for looking and hope your having a great weekend.

Surfer Tilda Frame/Easel Card

This is my first try at a Frame Card. This was a challenge over at Magnolia-licious earlier this year but as yet I haven't been brave enough to try. The instruction are found HERE. I've also made the whole card into an Easel Card, which allows the frame to stand up quite well.
The background image is from Magnolia 'Ocean Background' and is coloured lightly with copics as is Tilda. Not sure if I'm totally happy with the colours, perhaps could be a bit brighter. I've added dimensional magic to the ocean and a little sandcastle embellishment on the sand. Added metal greeting from MM and shell charm on a little bit of rafia. Inside the the card I've used the Spellbinders Fancy Tags (which I've just received in the post) with another metal charm attached.

This is also my entry this week for Cute Card Thursday Challenge #105 - 'Dimensions'.

Thanks for looking.

The images were then cut out and placed onto heart embossed background shaped with nestabilites Labels One. The layout is from Friday Sketches #93. I've used SU Baja Breeze card stock as my base card and the pattern paper is Kaisercraft Devonshire Collection. I've used the McGill fern puch and flowers from various sources. The greeting is from Stampin Up and punched with SU ovals. Have stitched around edges and added pearls, lace ribbon & charm.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge

My daughter has just been to another 7th birthday party today, this time for her friend Liam. I've used the sketch from The Sugar Bowl Challenge #31.

I've used SU Night of Navy cardstock and pattern papers from the Kaisercraft Rewind Collection. These papers are so good for boy cards. The image is Sugarnellie 'Skateboarder' , stamped onto white cardstock, coloured with copics and paper pieced with pattern paper. I have mounted this onto Cuttlebug Star pattern embossed paper and then mounted onto night of navy. Both circles cut with nestables. The stars are punched with SU & unlabelled star punches. The number seven is a chipboard number inked with night of navy. The greeting is a rubon from DCWV.
