Baby Girl

My husband's sister and brother-in-law welcomed their first grandchild recently. A beautiful baby girl.


I found this cute little image and used some papers from my stash. Added heart shaped doily, lace, flowers and embellishments.

Dad birthday

This is my Dad's birthday card.

I found an image on the net and then edited through Picaso to give it a sketch/vintage look. Added lots of embellishments I found at the craft convention in Brisbane last month.

Lost Post

I've just been sorting through some photos and found this card I made last year but somehow forgot to hit the publish button. 

This was for my niece Keely. She has been playing the violin since she was quite small so when I found this image I thought it would be perfect for her.

This is a Digi image which I have coloured with copic pens. The birthday greeting is from LOTV. Pattern papers from Stampin up.

Mothers Day

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

I've spent a lovely day today with my family at the Botanical Gardens. We found a beautiful shady spot to have a picnic lunch and good chat with family members we haven't seen in awhile. The kids had a great time too with lots of footpaths to ride their skateboards and feeding the ducks and turtles.

This is the card I made for my Mum. I found the pattern for the teapot at toptiptuesday.blogspot.com.  I've used Kaisercraft pattern paper (Magnolia) and  matching pink bazzil cardstock.  Flowers, pearls and  accessories are from Wild Orchard Crafts. I coloured the pearls with a copic pen to match the pink. Greeting stamp is from LOTV.

Foxy Card

This card was made for my friend Debbie who celebrated her birthday recently. 

She is a collector of all things Fox so I had to use this vintage image which I sourced from Google images. The scalloped circle is a Marianne's die which I've made into an easel card . The patter paper is digital paper which I've printed. Also used flower from Prima and some pearls.

I also put together this little cutie for her;

I got the kit from Happy Sew Lucky. She loved it.

Vintage Card

Thought I would try some vintage for my card today.

The image is from Magic Moonlight free images and is called "1925 young sweet" . It is aptly titled as it's a beautiful image. The patter paper is a digi download and is called Vintage Postcard.  I've been unable to find where I sourced this from but will update when I do. I cut out the butterfly and added some foam dots to make it pop up. The little postcard is also digital.

I've added some ribbon, pearls and metal embellishments which are all from Wild Orchard crafts. The flower is from Prima Flowers.

Christmas & New Year wishes

My kids and our little Buddy on Christmas day.

 

Hi everyone. Merry Christmas and Happy 2012 to you all.

 I thought I should post some of the christmas cards I made this year. Unfortunately I didn't make as many as I would have liked to. I used a selection of papers from Papermania. I actually bought this paper pack last christmas and didn't really like it so just put it in my stash. I must admit I've really enjoyed using these colours this year.  I also used a selection of LaLa Land digi stamps, a Wild Rose Studio and a little Hanglar Stanglar stamp I had never used before.

All the images where coloured with copics.

Hopefully I'll get some time again this year to make more cards and I'm hoping to start some scrapbooking again. It feels like forever ago I was scrapbooking.
